Armand Francois is an Atlanta based Romanian-American screenwriter and director known for his work in independent feature films, award-winning short films, and nationally broadcast television commercials. His films have screened at major festivals around the southeast including the Atlanta Film Festival (48th annual), Georgia Film Festival, Athens Film Festival, Atlanta Microshort Film Festival, Atlanta Women’s Film Festival, and Atlanta Underground Film Festival. His 2023 short Bonobos  won Best Screenplay and Best Drama, with Francois also receiving a Best Director nomination for The Bonobos. The two short films would serve as inspiration for the series, Red River Sirens.
